Yard Waste Disposal
Yard waste (leaves, branches, grass clippings) goes in the metal “Puntos Verdes” boxes, not the regular dumpsters. Current locations:

- Barra de Portezuelo – Avda. del Argonauta y Los Delfines
- Punta Fría – Vilardebó y Joaquín de Salterain
- Piriápolis – Atanasio Sierra y Caseros
- Barrio Country – Capri y San Remo
- Pueblo Obrero – 14 de Julio entre Río de Janeiro y Maciel
- Playa Hermosa – Calle 20 y Calle 5
If a box is full, use the next closest one and don’t leave waste on the ground. As a backup, you can also take yard waste to the landfill on Ruta 37. Map.
