The feria is every Saturday morning across the street from the bus terminal.

Hipermercado Devoto (and its brand called Fresh Market) is like Whole Foods. You will find many recognizable brands and specialty items, and it is generally the more expensive option.
There is one Devoto open year-round, a Fresh Market in Punta Colorada open year-round, and one Devoto on the west side of town in Los Angeles that is only open during the tourist season
Supermercado El Dorado is an affordable Uruguayan-style grocery store.
El Depósito is like a mini-Costco. It’s often more affordable than Devoto, but you might not be able to find your preferred brands.

There are many well-stocked corner markets throughout the downtown area.
